There are two main ways of learning: learning through joy and learning through pain.
Joy is light, joy is loving, and it naturally moves into co-operation and sharing, and expresses itself in flow and change. Joy sees the whole world as safe and open, and full of new friends and opportunities to spread love and happiness.
Pain is heavy, pain is resentful, and it naturally moves into competition and greed, and expresses itself in rigid structures and resistance to change.. Pain sees the whole world as threatening, and puts a lot of effort into issues of safety and security.
Whether you choose to learn and grow through joy, or through pain, you will still be learning, but the path of joy leads to rapid progress towards the Light, while the path of pain has many dead-ends and twists and turns in it.”
